Woolrich x Target: A Legacy of Adventure, Reimagined

Adventure is calling — and Target is answering with a new limited-time collection with iconic brand Woolrich, the original outdoor clothing company.

Launching Oct. 18 in select stores and on Target.com, the Woolrich x Target collection reimagines beloved classics with a fresh, playful spirit and plenty of Woolrich’s signature red and black buffalo check, blending heritage with modern design across more than 100 items.

It’s about the style of today, married with the history and heritage of a brand that’s been around for almost 200 years.

The collection brings together two design-driven brands deeply rooted in style and storytelling. The result? A collection that celebrates the joy of outdoor living, the versatility of adventure-ready fashion and the emotional pull of nostalgia. From buffalo check jackets and fleece zip-ups to inflatable kayaks and mindfulness journals, it’s an inventive assortment that invites you to explore, play and rediscover the outdoors in style.

Inspired by the archives

Woolrich, founded in 1830, has an incredible history — from outfitting the first U.S. Antarctic expedition to providing U.S. soldiers with blankets and outerwear in WWI and WWII. Inspired by this nearly 200-year legacy, our design team spent time in the brand’s historic archives, uncovering original prints, artwork and details that are reflected in over 100 reinvented classics that make up the Woolrich x Target collection. It's an expertly rendered blend of heritage craftsmanship and modern, functional design — all at prices starting at just $2, with most items under $40. It’s also our largest men’s capsule ever in a limited-time offering, alongside a wide range of women’s styles, home goods, outdoor adventure items and even exclusive food and beverage items from Peet’s Coffee and Kodiak Cakes.

An adventure-fueled campaign

To mark the launch, we debuted a vibrant campaign embracing the “Adventure is Wherever You Are” theme, capturing the spirit of exploration in everyday life. Shot in New York City, the campaign follows style influencer Lauren Wolfe and singer-songwriter David Kushner as they navigate their own personal adventures through the streets of NYC. The campaign captures the playful spirit of the collection — showing how Woolrich x Target fits effortlessly into everyday moments of exploration, joy and self-expression.

In stores, you’ll be immersed in a world of buffalo check and sheep motifs, while Target.com and the Target app will feature fall-inspired visuals and joyful touches that bring the collection to life.
